The American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) program is designed to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and manage cardiopulmonary arrest, acute arrhythmias, and other medical emergencies.
- The ACLS course covers topics such as the importance of high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of airway management devices, and the administration of medications used during advanced cardiac life support. Participants also learn how to interpret electrocardiograms (ECGs) and identify arrhythmias, as well as how to manage acute coronary syndromes, stroke, and other medical emergencies. In addition to the knowledge gained through the ACLS course, participants will also develop their communication and teamwork skills through simulated scenarios and hands-on practice.
- NOTE: The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
- Please try to arrive at class 10 minutes early to check-in.
