The Certification Process

New Certification HeartCode®

  1. Register for a class date and time below. (Factor in some time to complete Pre-Class Learning)
  2. Purchase HeartCode BLS from American Heart Association.
  3. Complete HeartCode Modules and email the certificate to anita@texascprlady.com.
  4. Attend Class and Successfully Demonstrate Skills
  5. Receive your certificate in class.

Renewal: requires a current BLS card. Includes an in-class skills session and exam. If you would like to forego the exam you can complete the Heartcode Blended Learning BLS online course listed above before class.

  • American Heart Association HeartCode® BLS (Basic Life Support) is an American Heart Association (AHA) training program that provides a convenient and flexible way to learn the essential skills of adult and pediatric CPR, AED usage, and choking relief.
  • While BLS certification is often a requirement for nurses, physicians, EMTs, dental professionals, and other allied health workers, it's also valuable for anyone in a role where they might need to respond quickly to a medical emergency — including caregivers, fitness professionals, teachers, and lifeguards. The course is designed to build both confidence and competence, ensuring that participants can act decisively and correctly during the critical first minutes of an emergency, when fast intervention can significantly improve outcomes.
  • Please try to arrive at class 10 minutes early to check-in.
  • Class Location: 4030 Texas 6 Frontage Rd, Suite 215, College Station, TX 77845. (American Momentum Bank Building, 3rd Floor)
  • You should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for easy movement. You may need to bend, stand, lift, and work on your hands and knees.
