- New Certification HeartCode BLS: Using a combination of self-paced, interactive online BLS classes and in-person skill sessions, our blended learning program gives you the ability to train on your schedule, improve your clinical decision-making skills, learn the latest science-based protocols, then demonstrate your skills to a certified instructor. Requires the purchase of HeartCode BLS online portion from AHA (sold separately). A digital student manual is included with your purchase from AHA.
- Renewal: requires a current BLS card. Includes an in-class skills session and exam. If you would like to forego the exam you can complete the Heartcode Blended Learning BLS online course listed above before class.

American Heart Association HeartCode® BLS (Basic Life Support) is an American Heart Association (AHA) training program that provides a convenient and flexible way to learn the essential skills of adult and pediatric CPR, AED usage, and choking relief.
- AHA BLS is designed for healthcare professionals and individuals seeking certification in basic life support.
- NOTE: The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
- Please try to arrive at class 10 minutes early to check-in.

- You should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for easy movement. You may need to bend, stand, lift, and work on your hands and knees.

I had an amazing experience in the BLS class led by Anita. She ran the class efficiently and with great organization. The classroom was clean, well-equipped, and provided the perfect environment for hands-on learning. Anita was great! I loved this class it was very thorough and hands on learning. She made sure that everyone was comfortable with the process of each practice before moving on. By far the best class I have attended in years! Anita is very welcoming and sweet I definitely recommend her for BLS/CPR/First Aide classes!

I've taken a lot of BLS classes over the years, and this one is hands down the best! I've been renewing with her for the last two cycles and have enjoyed every class. I even had my grandparents take it since they'd be helping with a new baby at home.
You’ll walk away from her class feeling confident and with the knowledge that could save a life. She takes the class seriously, and it’s well organized, easy to follow, fun and engaging.
The scheduling and payment process is super convenient, and you get your certification card the same day! Plus, she sends helpful reminders when your certification is about to expire.
Definitely take her class, you’ll be glad you did!!!

Anita was fabulous! She helped build my confidence for practice in the need of a real life emergency situation. She acknowledges where you are strong in the class but guides you where there can be improvement. You aren't rushed at all and I could not recommend her enough!!! If you are needing a renewal or new cert please go to the CPR Lady!

As a returning student, I must say I am always impressed each time I go for my BLS renewal. I have been working with Ms.Anita since I began nursing school and I am now a registered nurse. She is a wonderful instructor who is very kind, understanding, and down to earth. She is truly amazing and I’d recommend her to anyone!
